It’s easy to focus on immediate satisfaction. How much better does another 20 minutes of sleep sound instead of going to 6 am hot yoga?
One hour. One day. One week. One year. One lifetime. The future can mean any length of time.
I’ve been far from perfect with this new mantra and often Now Rick beats Future Rick. However, I’ve found this thought has provided that extra boost when I’ve needed it most.
