Moments of Normalcy

Yesterday, I played golf for the first time in 2020. Didn’t keep score and only played 9 holes, but it felt great to get out. My expectations were so low, but came away pleasantly surprised. I plan to lower my expectations in the future.

It’s hard to find moments where you can clear your mind of the chaos in the world. Yesterday, golf provided such an outlet. I played with a good friend of mine and it was just the two of us which removed any social distance worries.

2 hours. 9 holes. A feeling of normalcy. And I caught the golf bug again.
